Nedinsco (NED) is a developer and producer of opto-mechatronic systems and modules. The company was founded by Carl Zeiss Jena in 1921 and has been involved with developing high-quality optical, mechanical and electronic systems ever since. They provide customers with state-of-the-art and cost effective photonic based systems.
NED has undertaken prototyping, pilot production and serial production for a number of industry sectors. Their core competencies include:

In the Tailor:Weld project, NED is contributing towards the design of the DOE laser welding head module, as well as providing input for process monitoring design and optical ray tracing simulation for the welding head module.
