Very Important Product Maschinenvertriebs (VIP) was founded in 1994 and is an innovative SME specialising in the specification, design and assembly of machines for laser materials processing. VIP already serves a number of market sectors, including the automotive, medical and semiconductor industries.
VIP design and integrate laser processing machines, as well as special purpose machines for robotic handling. They are experience in the areas of laser technology, control engineering and robotic handling, and have supplied laser systems incorporating a wide number of laser sources (Yb-fibre, Yb:YAG disc, diode) and process heads for a number of different applications.
In Tailor:Weld, VIP contributes in the integration of the Tailor:Weld welding head module to commercial laser welding head. In addition, VIP will take an active role in the demonstration phase of the project. Post-project VIP will provide the complete laser system based on the Tailor:Weld processing head.
